after the death of her father, she was sent to port townsend to attend a boarding school. the mourning of her father distracted her from her studies. she dropped out and moved into one of the rooms above the tongue and tail butcher shop.one day, she was looking for dandelions, since her father always said that a dandelion in your pocket will help bring courage to you. the issue is, when she looks, she finds herself in the middle of a field that holds an alter for dandelion sprites.infected by dandelion sprites, she becomes a case for the dead boy detectives, which they solve before the sprites could kill her. more in the case notes.with a near-death experience, she is able to see the ghost detectives, which she thinks they have a cool name. she gets along with edwin, hoping to help him with his boy troubles and teach him how the world is better to love.sometimes, she helps the boys and crystal on cases when she can. which, soon brings her to her demise. attacked by the witch, esther finch, magic struck the girl in the chest causing blood to pool. young niko sasaki risked her life for her friends.all her things and her lifeless body was shipped back to Osaka, where her mother lives.

Status: Closed.Detective Notes: Crystal Palace, a psychic, noticed the client, Niko Sasaki's mind is full of bright and colourful imagery. The teenager had past out and had not awaken. When Crystal tries to look within the victim's mind, the body of Niko started to shake and rattle the bed she laid on.Infested with Taraxacum spiritus parasitus (also known as dandelion sprites).The client had ventured into a woodlands area in Port Townsend, looking for dandelions. She mentions of a shrine in the clearing. She had mentioned of fainting in the woods, with little memory of anything else.Chiseled on the alter is coptic form of language, wrapping around the edge. When translated it reads, "These small gods require constant sacrifices. Only this shrine's enchanted vessel can contain the sprites." The vessel was dropped during an attack from the surrounding skeletons after the vessel was removed from the shrine.The sacred offerings found in the original vessel were added to an enchanted jar, thanks to Tragic Mick.Crystal Palace was able to draw out the sprites from the young teenager's mind and out into a jar, where they now reside.Litty and Kingham, quite rude sprites. Their language is very cruel. Case closed.With the near-death experience with the sprites, Niko Sasaki possesses the sight to see the supernatural.

Found in Paranormal Parasitics. These parasites infect the victim's mind, causing the host to weaken. Loss of consciousness or violent, spasmodic movement may also occur with the host's physical form. These sprites secret a viscous psychic fluid, or ectoplasmic ejaculations from the sinuses and mouth. These symptoms can be expected when the host is confronted by attention, whose presence evoke a violent response from the adoration-hungry sprites within.These sprites feed on adoration, attention. When they are strong enough, they exit the host. Just like dandelion flowers, the sprites explode out from their host, killing them in the process, then going to their next victim.These sprites can be found in woodland locations where decaying bodies or graves near the location.

death only comes when the soul is at rest and when it is present. she also visits when the body is dead. one or more of these did not happen to niko sasaki in the house of esther finch. instead, niko's soul was dragged somewhere else, somewhere where death does not visit: the neitherlands.the neitherlands was not what niko or the sprites would call it. there were no signs or any indictator on where they were. all that was around was the snow and emptiness. litty called it a frozen wasteland and kingham mentioned it seemed more like someone's abandoned freezer's.when there is daylight, they travel. they search for supplies. they look for others. they look for civilisation. days go by and their search seems hopeless. not a living soul in sight. the sprites, with their hatred and annoying attitudes try to bring niko's spirits down but it's an impossible task.

There are two different ways this could go:
1. legal department finds niko and the sprites since in a way, she would be considered a lost soul. but her body didn't die since she's still roaming the neitherlands. when they find her, they take her in. she's young and becomes a worker there since she couldn't back to her body. she works her way up from practically "mail room" to the principal. the issue is, time travel. since we must ask the questions when?2. tragic mick. tragic mick has a back door to the neitherlands. in the comic books, he helps hana watanabe in the neitherlands, promising her she'll get a way out of there and back to her own body (that's been hijacked by a demon). going this route, allows mick to know and help. mick doesn't tell the detectives since he really doesn't speak unless one asks for information.
